Safety labels for Canadian businesses
English and French safety labels, signs and WHMIS labels printed to your content, quoted by a United States supplier.
English and French on one label
Bilingual labels carry the same message in both languages under one signal word panel. Commonly used French headers are DANGER, AVERTISSEMENT, ATTENTION and AVIS, alongside the English DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION and NOTICE. Layouts can stack the languages or set them side by side, and symbol-led ISO 3864-2 designs cut down the text that needs translating.
We typeset the French text you supply and do not translate or review it, so have a fluent reader check the proof. Quebec has its own rules on French on signs and products; our bilingual labels guide for Canada covers the background, and you confirm what applies to your site or product.
WHMIS workplace and supplier labels
WHMIS supplier labels for hazardous products sold in Canada usually carry a product identifier, the initial supplier identifier, hazard pictograms, a signal word, hazard and precautionary statements and supplemental information, in English and French. Workplace labels are simpler: a product identifier, safe handling information and a reference to the safety data sheet.
We print the content you provide from your SDS. We do not classify products, write hazard statements or review labels against the Hazardous Products Regulations or provincial rules. Our WHMIS labels guide explains what each label type is for. Chemical stock matters too, so name the chemicals the label will contact.
Ordering from a US supplier
Canadian businesses order the same way as US buyers: build a quote list, or paste part numbers on the quote page, and include your province and postal code. Quotes are in US dollars.
Shipping method, carrier, customs paperwork, duties, taxes and brokerage are confirmed in your quote, not before, because they depend on the order, its weight and its destination. If you need the order by a date, say so in the request and the quote will tell you whether it can be done.
What to send for a quote
- Part numbers from the catalog, or a description of each custom label.
- The languages for each design, and the text in each language.
- For WHMIS labels, the content from your SDS for each product.
- Quantities per design, the surface and the conditions (indoor, outdoor, chemical, heat).
- Ship-to address with postal code, and any purchase order number.

Common questions
Do you sell to businesses in Canada?
Yes. Canadian businesses can request quotes for any catalog or custom product. Shipping method, duties and taxes are confirmed in the quote.
Do you translate labels into French?
No. Send the French text with the English; we typeset both as supplied and you approve the proof. A fluent reviewer should check it before you approve.
Can you print WHMIS supplier labels?
Yes, from the content you supply, in English and French. We do not classify products or write hazard statements; that content comes from your SDS and your regulatory review.
Do my safety labels have to be bilingual?
It depends on the product, the label type and the province. WHMIS supplier labels are bilingual, and Quebec has its own French language rules. Confirm what applies to you; our guide is a starting point.
What currency are quotes in?
US dollars. Any duties, taxes or brokerage that apply are shown or explained in your quote.
Can I use symbol-only labels instead of bilingual text?
Wordless symbol labels are available and reduce translation, but whether they are enough for your product or site is your decision. See wordless format labels.
Can a Canadian company open a wholesale account?
Yes. Apply on the wholesale page with your company details and postal code. Account approval and payment terms are confirmed by email.
